Pudding with flaxseed

Flax that is also known as linseed or flaxseed is a type of plant that provides healthy nutrients like fiber and antioxidants. In Asian countries, flaxseed is well known when it comes to Ayurvedic medicine. There are many forms of flaxseed, for instance, oil, flour, capsules, powder and soon.

Many people also use flaxseed as a healing supplement for diabetes, heart disease, constipation, and even cancer. The reason for is is the fact that flaxseed contains omega-3 fatty acids which possibly prevent some cancer cells from growing. Of course, it has not been 100% scientifically proven so, for now, it’s just a suggestion.

Most importantly, you do not have to have any condition to enjoy this delicious seed.

In this recipe with flaxseed, we will be using some banana and apple, as well as almond milk. Enjoy!

120 g flaxseed (8 tbsp.)
400 ml almond milk or another herbal milk alternative
1 banana
1 apple
  ground cinnamon


  1. For the flaxseed pudding, mix the flaxseed in a bowl with the almond drink and put it in the refrigerator overnight.
  2. Peel and slice the banana the next morning. Wash apple, quarter, core, and slice.
  3. Stir flaxseed pudding and fill up 2 cereal bowls. Garnish it with fruit and sprinkle with cinnamon.
