Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Avocado and Spinach

20 g baby spinach
50 g avocado (0.5 avocados)
4 stems fresh herbs (e.g. basil)
140 g wholegrain toast bread (4 slice)
80 g grated mozzarella (9% fat)
1 clove of garlic
1 tbsp. olive oil


  1. Wash the spinach and pat dry. Slice an avocado. Wash herbs, shake dry and finely chop.
  2. Take 2 slices of bread one at a time with ¼ of the mozzarella, half of the avocado, half of the spinach, half of the herbs and then top with the rest of the cheese.
  3. Season the sandwiches with salt and pepper, finish with the remaining two slices of toast and lightly squeeze.
  4. Rub a pan with garlic. Add oil and fry the sandwiches until golden brown on both sides over medium heat.
