Lactose-free Caramel-Milk Cream Spread

1 l fat-free milk
200 ml whipped cream
0.25 tbsp. salt
1 packet vanilla sugar
200 g sugar
100 g of cane sugar
1 tsp baking powder


  1. For the lactose-free caramel-milk cream spread, put all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil while stirring. 
  2. Simmer over low heat with regular stirring for 60-80 minutes until the cream is firm.
  3.  As it cools, it thickens even further. 
  4. Test a spoon on a plate and see how the consistency after cooling is.
  5. Caramel cream hot fill in sterile glasses, close well, cool and refrigerate.
