|25 tbsp||soy sauce|
|25 tbsp||Chinese wine or sherry|
|75 tbsp||tomato sauce|
|25 tbsp||corn starch|
|½ tbsp||cold water|
|½ tbsp||peanut oil|
|25 clove||garlic, crushed|
|63 tsp||ginger root, finely grated|
|½ tbsp||melon slices or pieces as desired|
- For the sweet and sour sauce without pineapple peel the carrot and cut it into thin slices. Bring light saltwater to a boil, boil the carrot and peas in it for two minutes, drain and pour into cold water so that the color remains.
- Peel and quarter the onion and divide the quarters again. Separate the individual layers. Mix the soy sauce, wine, tomato sauce, vinegar, sugar, and water, stir until the sugar has dissolved. Mix the cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of cold water.
- Heat the oil, add the garlic, ginger, onions, carrots and peas and stir-fry for two minutes. Add the combined sauce mixture and bring to a boil. Then add the cornstarch, bring to the boil while stirring and let it thicken. Remove from the stove and add the melon pieces. Keep warm. Ready and very tasty.
